Lady Gaga’s dog walker, who was shot while walking with the star’s French bulldogs in Los Angeles, wrote an emotional post on social media Monday morning describing the ambush and thanking the star for her support.
“4 days ago, while a car was driving away and blood was pouring from my gunshot wound, an angel trotted over and lay down next to me. My panicked screams calmed down as I looked at her, although it registered that the blood pooling around her tiny body was mine, ”wrote Ryan Fischer, 39, on Instagram, referring to Gaga’s dog, Miss Asia, who escaped the dognapping .
“I rocked Asia the best I could, thanked her for all the incredible adventures we had together, apologized for not being able to defend her brothers and then decided that I would still try to save them … and myself.”
Fischer, who shared two snaps of him recovering in a hospital bed, including one with a breathing tube, was ambushed by two beasts in West Hollywood last Wednesday as he took Gags’ Frenchies, Gustav, Koji and Miss Asia, for a walk while the star was in Italy.
Video shows the suspects jumping out of a white Nissan Altima demanding Fischer to turn the puppies, but the licensed animal lover and professional dog walking service refused.
Fischer fights with the suspects, described as two black men between the ages of 20 and 25, who then shot him in the chest, snatched Gustav and Koji, and ran away.
Video shows Fischer wailing on the sidewalk in pain, screaming that he was bleeding as Miss Asia ran towards him.
“Hoping that my calm (ish) and firm pleas for the urgency of my care and the dogs’ focused descriptions would be enough to help me and get enough police and media attention to find the boys, he said. The dogs were missing for two days – but they were found late Friday. A Good Samaritan, who reportedly found the puppies tied to a stake outside miles from where they were captured, picked them up and returned them to a Los Angeles police station.

Fischer closed the two-part post by thanking Gaga.
