LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – City vaccination sites starting Monday will expand their eligibility to comply with the county’s public health guidelines, the Los Angeles mayor’s office announced.
“Our vaccination program has faced many challenges, but we have made it clear that nothing will disrupt our mission to deliver this life-saving vaccine to Angelenos as quickly and safely as possible,” said Mayor Garcetti. “By qualifying more groups of essential workers, more lives will be saved and our recovery accelerated. We are encouraged to listen to pledges for more vaccines from our federal and state partners and are ready to scale up our operations to end this pandemic. “
