Kim Kardashian is currently in the middle of a divorce from rapper Kanye West, with whom she has welcomed four children during their nearly seven-year marriage.
And the mother of 40-year-old KUWTK star Kris Jenner, who had gone through two divorces herself, recently gave her daughter some helpful advice.
“I think the most important thing I’ve learned through my experience, both experiences, is that the kids come first,” the 65-year-old manager told WSJ Magazine.

Jenner shares four children, daughters Kim, Kourtney, 41, Khloe, 36, and son Rob, 34, with late husband Robert Kardashian, from whom she divorced in 1991.
Kardashian tragically died in September 2003, after months of battling esophageal cancer.
She also happens to share two daughters, Kylie, 23, and Kendall, 25, with ex Caitlyn Jenner, 71. The couple were married from 1991 until their divorce in 2015.
Kris continued, “If you keep that in mind and know they’ll get you through, love will get you through, you know, no matter how much you hurt.”

Jenner recalled her own experiences with divorce, telling WSJ that she “didn’t want to have a pity party in front of the kids.”
She explained that she would “put everyone to bed, and then I would be upset or go to my room and cry myself to sleep,” instead of acting in front of the kids.
While divorce can get ‘really crazy’ and alienated couples can sometimes focus on ‘unnecessary factors,’ Jenner further stressed that the children should remain the top priority.
Since her 2015 divorce from Caitlyn, Kris has found love again with her business friend Corey Gamble, 40.

The founder of KKW Beauty recently received a response from her estranged husband, who agreed to the terms of her divorce filing.
A month after it was reported that their split was “ imminent, ” Kim took the first step alongside her high-profile attorney Laura Wasser.
