Koopman beats a municipal inspector of Oaxaca de Juárez to death

Oaxaca de Juárez. – The Directorate of Public Safety, Roads and Civil Defense of the municipality of Oaxaca de Juárez has issued the search form for Enoc Martínez Baños, identified as the person believed to be responsible for the death of the Municipal Inspector, Gregorio Cortés Cruz.

Yesterday the inspector of the Sub-directorate of Regulation of Activity on Public Roads died after several days of hospitalization after being beaten by the trader, de Cabildo del City Council of Oaxaca de Juárez, who published an obituary via social networks after the death.

According to preliminary information, the municipal official was beaten last Sunday by Enoc Martínez Baños, a resident of the state of Guerrero, near the Santo Domingo de Guzmán temple, where Cortés Cruz was conducting his activities, when he was attacked by the person he is on the run today.

After being beaten, paramedics transferred the injured inspector to the IMSS hospital, where he died yesterday.

After confirming the inspector’s death, the municipal president, Oswaldo García Jarquín, offered his condolences to his family and condemned the violent act.

It emerged through social networks that the alleged perpetrator was seen in the vicinity of Etla, while others indicate that he fled to the coast of Oaxaca after learning that he is being sought by the authorities; so far his capture has not been released.
