Kim Kardashian and six-year-old husband Kanye West have ‘completely’ retired from marriage counseling amid reports of their impending divorce.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and her husband have been in therapy to mend their relationship.

She has reportedly been meeting with divorce attorney Laura Wasser in recent weeks, as a source now tells People of Kanye, “ He’s talking to divorce attorneys this week. ”

The 40-year-old is living separately from Kanye, 43, because after months of therapy, their relationship has become ‘downright toxic’.

A source recently told Us Weekly of their divorce: “Kim and Kanye had no choice but to end up living separately because communication between them had become so downright toxic.

They entered the latter part of 2020 with the best of intentions and wanted to find a way to interact when they were spending time together.

But it got to the point where the bickering turned into nasty outbursts and confrontations, and since neither of us wanted the kids exposed to that kind of hostility, [stayed] part.’

Kim and Kanye were married in May 2014 in Florence, Italy, and they share daughters North, seven, Chicago, three, sons Saint, five, and Psalm, one.

Another insider told Us Weekly: ‘Kanye is jealous of the amount of time Kim has spent reforming the prison and the children.

Kanye wanted the family to move to Wyoming full-time. It is where he sees this direction of his life going. Kim just doesn’t see their life in Wyoming full time. ‘

They also said that although the couple has been working on their marriage in counseling, they “ haven’t had a joint session in a while. ”

Kim has continued to meet their marriage counselor in solo sessions. Kim’s particular focus is on how this will affect the kids, and Kanye was open to participating in those discussions. ‘

Meanwhile, Page Six reported that Kanye’s failed presidential run was “ the last straw ” for Kim amid their struggle to make the marriage work.

A source said the SKIMS mogul had to “end the marriage for the sake of her children and her own sanity.”

Things seemingly came to a head in July, when Kanye revealed that she nearly had an abortion while pregnant with North, which eventually sparked rumors of a divorce.

Multiple outlets have reported that Kim is teaming up with Wasser, who handled her divorce from Kris Humphries, 35, in 2011, after 72 days of marriage.
