Khloe Kardashian got a response earlier this week about the use of an emoji on Twitter.
The 36-year-old KUWTK star, who is currently in Turks and Caicos, took to the social media platform on Wednesday to post a facial palm symbol, which seemed to offend a series of social media users for insisting it was on a ‘black woman ‘seemed.
While some fans claimed the icon was of a ‘tanned’ tone, others insisted that she chose the figure that reflects her ‘brown hair and light skin tone’.

The microblogging site currently features emojis with at least six different skin tones and hair colors.
A Twitter user slammed her decision, writing, ‘Why does @khloekardashian use Black Woman Emojis? During BHM [Black History Month] and we are still in the middle of a pangea. ‘(sic)
Another critic pointed out that she had used a pale-skinned and blonde-haired emoji the day before in a post that said, “I always forget to post my photos on Twitter.”
Others added: ‘Sister turned tanned in Turks and Caicos Islands and now uses black emojis. On the second day of BHM. I’m ready
