KFC Launches Video Game Console – Featuring a Baked Chicken Grill

KFC has come up with a way for hungry gamers to reheat their fried chicken without having to press pause – by launching a finger-licking game console with a built-in grill.

“The KFConsole has arrived,” manufacturer Cooler Master announced on their website.

KFC originally posted a video on the KFConsole following the PlayStation 5’s debut in June, bragging that the device was “equipped with a red-hot grill.” However, gamers thought the versatile machine was a misstep until its creators made it clear that it was in fact the for real deal on Tuesday.

“Yes, it is real,” tweeted Intel representative Mark Walton. Yes, it is powered by Intel. And yes, it has a chicken warmer. “

KFC Gaming even released an epic video featuring the KFConsole’s state-of-the-art “Chicken Chamber”, a miniature microwave-like compartment where snack-like button mashers can heat up the chicken while they play.

“By taking advantage of the system’s natural heat and airflow system, you can now focus on your gameplay and enjoy hot, crispy chicken between rounds,” said Cooler Master.

As if that wasn’t convenient enough, the device also offers “smooth and fluid gameplay at high frame rates of up to 240 fps for all games, with support for 240 Hz output on 4K displays,” according to the description.

Unfortunately, KFC has yet to announce when and where the KFConsole will be available.

In the meantime, gamers can soften their KFC-related pixel pangs by using the “I Love You, Colonel Sanders! Dating simulator” or building KFC restaurants on “Minecraft.”

In other seasonal news, Walmart is still serving KFC’s baked chicken-scented firelets for the holidays.
