Kelly Osbourne revealed that she has relapsed after being sober for nearly four years.
The media personality, 36, told fans on her Instagram Stories Monday that she is not “proud” of her actions and is already “getting back on track”.
“This is a bit difficult for me to talk about, but I have always promised you that I will always be honest with you about where I stand and what is going on on my way to recovery,” admitted Osbourne. “I relapsed. I’m not proud of it. But I’m back on track.”
As of Monday, the former presenter of the “Fashion Police” said that she is sober again and will be “sober” tomorrow.

“But I’ve learned that it really is only one day at a time,” Osbourne continued. “I just want to tell you the truth because I never want to lie to you. Thank you very much for your support and your love.”

Osbourne became sober in 2017. She previously said she relied on drugs and alcohol to help treat her depression.
In 2019 she celebrated two years sober. “I woke up this morning feeling overwhelmed with gratitude. I can’t even put into words how much my life has changed in the last 2 years,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “To the friends and family who supported me on this journey, thank you. I love you so much. If you are new to sobriety, stick to it and life will be really good.”

“It was getting really dark,” thought Osbourne. “I gave up everything in my life, but most of all I gave up on myself. Living on the terms of life became too much for me to handle. The only way I knew how to function was by self-medicating and self-medicating. “Go from project to project. so I never had to focus on what was really going on with me. Had to give something … and it did.”
“I have [spent] the past year really busy with my mind, body and soul! I had to step out of the public eye, away from work, and give myself a chance to heal and find out who I really am without a camera in my face, ”she added.

It has been a rough time for the Osbourne family when Kelly’s mother, Sharon, left her CBS talk show “The Talk” in late March following an investigation into allegations of racist behavior and an on-air dispute with co-host Sheryl Underwood.
