Keke out, King doubtful for NFC title play

The Green Bay Packers listed only two injured players on the team’s final injury record for the NFC Championship Game.

Defensive lineman Kingsley Keke will miss his third game in a row due to a concussion, while cornerback Kevin King is considered questionable after a back injury this week. King did not practice on Friday.

Coach Matt LaFleur said he will give King, a starter at cornerback, the rest of the week to get ready to play.

“Hopefully he’s good to go on Sunday,” LaFleur said Friday.

King did not play in the first meeting with the Buccaneers. The Packers have just added seasoned cornerback Tramon Williams to the practice squad, adding even more depth to the position starting on Sunday. If King can’t go, Josh Jackson and Ka’dar Hollman are both available and Williams can be removed from the practice squad

Not having Keke anymore is a hard blow, given what he could have offered as an interior writer against Tom Brady. Snacks Harrison will probably be active again on Sunday.

The LaFleur team received a lot of good news. Kicker Mason Crosby has no injury indication and plays against the Buccaneers. He injured his shoulder on a failed extra run in last week’s win over the Rams. The Packers also have AJ Dillon, who is dealing with a quad injury but has no injury indication for Sunday.

Linebacker Krys Barnes (thumb) and running back Jamaal Williams (ankle), both new additions to this week’s injury record, will also play.

The Buccaneers shut out receiver Antonio Brown, naming rookie safety Antoine Winfield Jr. questionable.
