Katy Perry and Miranda Kerr talk about motherhood.
The singer, 36, joined the supermodel, 37, on Instagram Live on Tuesday night to discuss the launch of the new turmeric moisturizer from Kerr’s KORA Organics skincare line.
During their conversation, the couple also attached themselves to motherhood and talked about their ‘close’ relationship with each other.
“In our modern family, she’s probably the most health conscious of all,” Perry said of Kerr, who shares 10-year-old son Flynn with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom. Kerr and the actor were married for three years from 2010 to 2013.
“One of the great things about being close to Miranda is that I get to try out all of her products, especially when it comes to her son [Flynn] comes home with them in his backpack, ”Perry said, laughing.
In addition to his mom’s products, Perry said, “Flynn will always bring this great piece of skin care or nutritional knowledge.”
Perry and Bloom welcomed their first child together, Daisy Dove, last year. Kerr also has two sons (Myles, 18 months, and Hart, 3) with husband Evan Spiegel, 30.

“The kids are my greatest love,” Kerr said as she and Perry talked about parenting on Tuesday. “It’s just the best in the world, being a mother.”

The “Daisies” singer said that while much of the love and appreciation she has felt throughout her life is related to the success of her career, she was knocked out by the unconditional love of having a child.

“The love of your children is constant and unconditional and is not based on what you have, what you don’t have, what career, what product and that certainly made me feel so full to know that there is an unshakable and unconditional love,” she said.
Perry continued, “I’m so glad I made the conscious decision to really give it a try, because I didn’t want to miss that opportunity … It’s been the best.”
Kerr has previously been open about the love she has for both Perry and Bloom, 44.

During a virtual chat with Drew Barrymore on a November episode of her daytime talk show, the host praised Kerr for her “positive” approach to the trio’s relationship.
“I love Katy and I just feel so happy that Orlando has found someone who makes his heart so happy, because at the end of the day, a happy father and a happy mother is the most important thing for Flynn,” Kerr told Barrymore, 46. ”I’m just so grateful that Orlando and Katy found each other and I’m so grateful to have found my incredible husband and that we all truly respect each other.”
“When it comes to special occasions, when we need to be together, we can work it out so we compromise [about] “which is best for our whole family,” she added. “We really always think about what’s best for Flynn, and I just think that’s the most important thing.”
