Kate Middleton, 39, wore a chic black ensemble, complete with the Queen’s pearl choker, from Her Majesty’s personal collection, to the poignant service in Windsor yesterday afternoon.
The Royal Family wore a £ 1,605 Roland Mouret dress with an asymmetrical neckline, a garment she’d previously worn at the 2018 Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, with a black face cover and a velvet Philip Treacy pillbox.

Meanwhile, stylist Rochelle White agreed that the mother of three appeared to be ‘consciously styled’, and that being seen in Her Majesty’s jewels could be a subtle sign that Kate is ‘standing up’ to support the royal family.
“Kate’s outfit for Prince Philip’s funeral was sleek, stylish and elegant,” Rochelle explained. “The necklace was from the Queen’s personal collection and I think this may be a subtle sign that Kate will perform to support William and the royals.”
The stylist continued: ‘She has always had an elegant and classy look in her fashion style, but I think it could be more important than any other look.
“I don’t think Kate’s gaze was exaggerated. I thought it was appropriate for the occasion, but it was also striking. I feel like her outfits are consciously styled to say something without actually saying anything. ‘
She paired her outfit with the Japanese Pearl Choker Necklace and the Bahrain Pearl Diamond Drop Earrings, which were also from Her Majesty’s private collection.
Rachel added that wearing the Queen’s jewels shows “just how fit, appropriate, stylish and self-contained the Duchess is.”
