Next week, William and Kate will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary with the couple who are still mourning William’s grandfather Prince Philip, who died at Windsor Castle on April 9.

After the loss, Phil said the royal family will assume more responsibility within the company.

“She’s picked up on many of the qualities of the queen of tolerance and pragmatism, not overreacting to situations, but trying to decide what’s best in the long run,” he said.

Like the Queen, she doesn’t hold grudges or seek revenge.

“Kate realizes that the Queen needs her and William more than ever and will do everything she can to support her,” he added.

Phil also explained that the royal family is likely to take on a bigger role as the Queen, Charles, Camilla and Anne age.

“I expect to see her in public places with the Queen in the future, as well as other members of the family,” he said.

Now that the Queen is 95, Charles, Camilla and Anne in their 70s, a lot rests on William and Kate.

They have enjoyed long periods of family life in Norfolk, trying to educate their children as normally as possible.

“But now they will have to be on the board as a future king and queen and Kate seems ready to play her part.”
