Kate Middleton paves the way for William and Harry Patch Up

(Newer)
– William and Harry didn’t walk side by side at their grandfather’s funeral on Saturday, but the Sunday Times reports they could be headed for a royal reconciliation thanks to “family peacekeeper” Kate Middleton. According to the Times, the Duchess was the first to talk to Harry when the royals left Prince Philip’s funeral at Windsor Castle. William then joined and Kate slipped after her to give the brothers some space to talk. 99-year-old Philip’s death came just weeks after Harry’s bombshell Oprah interview along with wife Meghan Markle, who is pregnant and had to stay in California.

The brothers’ relationship has been tense ever since. As People points out, this was the first time the once-thick as thieves brothers had been together in the more than a year since Harry gave up his royal duties to move with Markle and their son Archie to Canada and then California. The Times reports that after his grandfather’s funeral, Harry will spend several days in Britain to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s 95th birthday with his family on Wednesday.
