The Denver Broncos don’t have the best chances of winning the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes. But they have an asset that other suitors don’t have: Kareem Jackson, who is actively recruiting the disaffected superstar quarterback for the Mile High City, he recently hinted on Twitter.
Jackson was teammates with Watson in Houston, of course, and apparently still maintains a back channel to the NFL’s reigning passing champion – a back channel he hopes will reunite the two.

After reportedly taking an aggressive (but not reckless) push against Matthew Stafford, offering a first round and then some, the Broncos are expected to exercise due diligence at Watson, who is officially seeking a transaction asked and for whom the price is astronomical.
According to the Houston Chronicle, the Texans are asking for two first-round picks, two second-rounders, and two young defensive players. That is also considered the starting point. It is quite possible, if it is probable, that a needy admirer will cough up three firsts in exchange for the triple Pro Bowler.
The Stafford finalists – Washington, Carolina, Indianapolis, Chicago, New England – should also provide significant nudges in all of the Watson talks. However, the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets, led by new player-friendly head coach Robert Saleh, are reportedly at the top of Watson’s wish list.
A frame without orange and blue. Woody Paige of the Colorado Gazette, who correctly predicted Stafford’s departure to a place with warm weather, claims Watson has “not interestedin the Broncos.
Paige believes it is more likely that, as a stop-gap for 2021, new general manager George Paton will sign a free agent QB Tyrod Taylor to pair with established starter Drew Lock.
