Justin Timberlake slammed by Britney Spears fans

Justin Timberlake is taken on by Britney Spears fans after the release of a new documentary about the “Toxic” singer.

A New York Times documentary ‘Framing Britney Spears’ puts Spears’s life in the spotlight, including mental health issues and a conservatorship led by her father Jamie. Part of the fascinating documentary focuses on Spears’ youthful romance with the NSYNC star in the early 00s – and the aftermath, which included allegations that Spears was cheating on Timberlake.

Timberlake fueled the story with the video for his 2002 song “ Cry Me A River, ” in which a blonde actress who resembles Spears sneaks around behind his back.

Diane Sawyer then further fueled the flames when she interviewed Spears in 2003, pushing the then 22-year-old to tears.

‘You broke his heart, you did something that caused him so much pain, so much suffering. What have you done? ”Sawyer hammered at Spears.

Fans immediately took to Twitter to call out to Timberlake after the document fell.

“Justin Timberlake needs to prepare his apology…” one person wrote, while another commented, “Watching Framing Britney Spears is a pretty easy way to get angry about misogyny, Justin Timberlake, and how we treat every girl and young woman. put in the spotlight. about the coals! “

“Twenty-five minutes in the new britney doc and ready to slowly pull out each of Justin Timberlake’s teeth with a wrench,” commented another angrily.

The film follows the ongoing # FreeBritney campaign, a move led by the singer’s ardent fans – the Britney Army – who feel she is allegedly being controlled by her father against her will. They have held protests and publicized the matter on social media.

And now, celebrities are also voicing their support for Spears in the wake of the movie’s release.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Better Midler both tweeted, “#FreeBritney. Khloe Kardashian tweeted her support, which Spears calls “Queen Britney.” Valerie Bertinelli called the documentary a ‘stomach ache’ and noted that there were ‘so many terrible men / leeches in her life’ including ‘Justin Timberlake’.

And Miley Cyrus her support cried during her “TikTok Tailgate” performance prior to the Super Bowl. The “Wrecking Ball” singer added Spears’s name to the lyrics of “Party in the USA” and told the audience, “We love Britney.”

The pop princess is currently enmeshed in a legal battle with her father, who has served as curator of his daughter’s finances for more than a decade.

At a hearing last year, Spears’s attorney, Samuel D. Ingham III, claimed that the “I’m a Slave 4 U” singer had become afraid of her father and wanted him removed from her conservatorship after allegedly receiving a new manager without consulting her.

The next court date on the battle for the conservatory is February 11.
