Justin Timberlake apologizes to Britney Spears, Janet Jackson

Justin Timberlake says he regrets the unkind things he said about Britney Spears after their breakup … and while he’s at it, he apologizes too Janet Jackson

Justin Posted his apology, which reads, “I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson, both separately, because I care about and respect these women and I know I’ve failed.”

Then he puts the blame more broadly on showbiz … “The industry is flawed. It sets men, especially white men, ready for success. It is designed this way. As a man in a privileged position I have to speak up. … I have not been perfect at navigating all this throughout my career. I know this apology is a first step and does not reveal the past. ”

As you know … Justin and Britney’s infamous relationship started way back in the early ’90s when they were both stars in the revived’ Mickey Mouse Club ‘, and their puppy love blossomed years later as their popularity soared.

The two made their relationship public in 1999 when Britney’s “Baby One More Time” skyrocketed and Justin was at NSYNC. When they broke up, there were rumors that she was cheating on Justin, and Justin went to a radio show and bragged about deflowering Britney. He also focused on her in his hit song “Cry Me a River.”
