Justin Bieber shares the reflection seven years after his arrest in Miami

Canadian singer Justin Bieber today recalled the reckless attitude that led to his arrest on January 23, 2014, and the lessons he learned from the experience.

The pop star used his Instagram account to share an image of the arrest, in which he was escorted by security agents.

“On a day like today 7 years ago they arrested me, I was not at my best. I am not proud of where I was in my life. He was hurt, unhappy, confused, angry, deceived, misunderstood, and angry with God. He was also wearing too much leather to be in Miami. All this to tell you that God has brought me a long way. From then until now I realize something … God was just as close to me then as he is now. My advice to you is, “Let your past be a reminder of how far God has taken you.” Don’t let shame ruin your “today,” let Jesus’s forgiveness take over and watch your life flourish in all that God has designed for you. I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART ”he wrote.

At the age of 19, Bieber was arrested for illegal car racing, drunk driving and opposing authorities. He was also said to have an expired driver’s license. The singer was arrested after police discovered him and singer Khalil during street races with two luxury cars on a residential street around 4:09 a.m. Bieber drove a Lamborghini and Khalil a Ferrari. Both cars were towed away. Police alleged that Bieber was driving between 55 and 60 miles per hour (88 to 96 kilometers per hour) in a zone limited to 30 miles per hour (48 kilometers).

On August 13, 2014, the singer pleaded guilty to reckless driving and as part of the settlement, the prosecution dropped the drunk driving charge. According to the newspaper The Miami HeraldBieber agreed to attend an anger management course and donate $ 50,000 to charity, in addition to paying court-imposed fines.
