Jujutsu Kaisen fans discover the secret of a villain’s language

Jujutsu Kaisen fans have discovered the secret to a villain’s mysterious language! The debut season of Gege Akutami’s original manga series took over the fall 2020 anime season and introduced protagonist Yuji Itadori as well as fans into a dark new world of enemies. With the cursed ghosts making their debut as monsters of the series, a few of them ended up at the top of the food chain as they evolved to a point where they have become just as strong and intelligent as the Jujutsu Sorcerers fighting them. But one of them was particularly intriguing.

One of these cursed ghosts spoke in a strange way, and fans have managed to find out what this mysterious language was. As noted by gfstach on Reddit, it turns out that this mysterious cursed ghost was actually speaking backwards and it’s even more noticeable in the English dubbing if you play it in reverse. In the first half of the anime debut season, this cursed ghost makes its debut alongside Geto, Mahito and Jogo. While the other three manage to over Jujutsu KaisenIn the first batch of episodes, this last ghost has yet to really make its move after rescuing Jogo. Without giving too much away, the ghost’s name is Hanami and we’ll definitely see him move in the anime adaptation soon enough.

As for when the anime returns, episode 14 of Jujutsu Kaisen premieres January 15 after a brief hiatus for the holidays. When it returns, it will not only kick off the second cour of its debut season, but it will also kick off a brand new arc that will introduce all kinds of new allies, enemies and more that anime fans are sure to tune in to. the success of that first half.
