Judge Pirro: ‘Liar, political bully’ Cuomo must be seriously investigated for ‘super cover-up’

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, D., should resign, Judge Jeanine Pirro told “Fox & Friends” Friday, in response to the bomb report that the governor hid nursing home deaths from the Trump administration.

“There was criminal behavior before this came out. What you had was a governor, he’s a liar, a political bully and … he made the decision to infect the most vulnerable in our society by sending in COVID-infected patients is a no-brainer. He knew what was going on, he signed the mandate, he tried to blame everyone, including the president, but he was wrong there, “said the host of” Justice with Judge Jeanine. ‘.

A top Cuomo assistant told leading Democratic lawmakers that the government had withheld data on COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes to avoid federal scrutiny, according to a new report in the New York Post. The revelation led to convictions and even impeachment in Albany, the state capital. Rep. Lee Zeldin, RN.Y., wants the Justice Department to open a barrier to judicial investigation.

“I have requested the resignation of Governor Cuomo, I think this will likely resemble criminal behavior,” said Rep. Claudia Tenney, RN.Y., previously on the show on “Fox & Friends.”

CUOMO ADMIN SAYS TOTAL CORONAVIRUS DEATHS IN NURSING HOMES EVEN HIGHER

Tenney had called on former Attorney General William Barr to investigate nursing home deaths since April and May. Although Tenney had been aware of the matter since early March and has since raised awareness on radio and television appearances, it has been “ignored.”

“The families of thousands of New York seniors who have passed away deserve accountability and justice for the true consequences of Governor Cuomo’s fatally flawed nursing home policies and ongoing attempts to cover it up. Clearly, what is happening here is criminal,” he said.

The New York Post first reported that Melissa DeRosa, secretary to the governor, told the leading Empire State Democrats that the government feared the data could be “used against us” by the Justice Department in a video conference. The DOJ began investigating coronavirus deaths in nursing homes in four states in August – and New York was one of them.

Pirro said Cuomo “delayed” sending the information to lawmakers about deaths in nursing homes, claiming there was “no problem.” She said the new report points to a “super cover-up,” with his own assistant admitting information was withheld due to an investigation into the case.

‘If you want intention, you have intention that is so strong here … Good for the attorney general in New York, but I’m not going to applaud her until there’s a grand jury investigating this matter and that depends on the attorney General. The FBI can do it too, ”Pirro said.
