Cris Tales, Modus Games’ upcoming JRPG love letter, is set to release on Switch and other platforms now in July, it has been confirmed.
Originally slated for launch in November, the game was delayed to ensure developers had “a chance to bring the best version” to fans who had been waiting for its release. The new news from the July 2021 release window is accompanied by a nice new trailer that shows just some of the locations you will be exploring in the game.

Cris Tales is a JRPG in which the past, the present and the future come together on one screen. Players can use Crisbell’s amazing ability to slide between time periods to aid civilians in the kingdoms of Crystallis as well as launch surprise attacks on enemies. If Crisbell is to save her magical world from the evil that threatens her, she must use her power to shape the past, present and future as she gathers allies to help her in her quest.
