Joss Whedon is accused of verbally abusing Gal Gadot

Even Wonder Woman was not safe from wrath.

A bombshell story by The Hollywood Reporter about Ray Fisher, who accused Joss Whedon of racist and “insulting” behavior on the set of the 2017 “Justice League”, also revealed new allegations of alleged abuse against Gal Gadot.

A source told THR that Gadot, who played Wonder Woman in the 2017 superhero movie, was one of the actors who were the victims of alleged abuse by the director and creator of “Buffy.”

The friction reportedly began after the “Alien Resurrection” writer urged 35-year-old Gadot to say lines that the source said she was uncomfortable with. He is also said to have threatened to torpedo the career of the actress.

A witness in attendance alleged to THR that after a particularly vicious argument, “Joss bragged that he broke up with Gal.”

“He told her he’s the writer and she’ll shut up and say the lines and he can make her look incredibly stupid in this movie,” they claimed.

The source also claimed upon publication that their heated tiff eventually resulted in a sit-down with then-Warner Bros. chairman Kevin Tsujihara.

‘I had problems with it [Whedon] and Warner Bros. handled it on time, ”Gadot said in a statement to THR about the argument. Whedon declined to comment to THR.

The “WW84” star was also not the only person allegedly assaulted by Whedon. A source claimed to THR that he even belittled original “Wonder Woman” director Patty Jenkins.

Ray Fisher, who plays Cyborg in “Justice League,” has long spoken about Whedon’s alleged abuse. He told The Hollywood Reporter about an incident where Whedon forced him to take up the “booya” line, which he takes analogous to Gary Coleman’s “whatchoo talkin ‘about Willis” and other stereotypical black slogan.

When he reluctantly agreed, Whedon reportedly mocked him.

Fisher had previously accused the director of “The Avengers” of “rude” and “unacceptable” behavior during filming – a claim corroborated by his co-star Jason Momoa.

Meanwhile, Whedon reportedly clashed with other “Justice League” actors, ranging from Momoa to Jeremy Irons, THR reported.

This isn’t the first time the filmmaker has been on the hot seat lately. Whedon is currently facing allegations of abuse from several stars of his vampire series “Buffy”, including Charisma Carpenter and Michelle Trachtenberg.
