The wheel underwent surgery for a meniscal problem in January that would keep him off the field for three or four months, but his recovery has gone better than expected.

After surgery, Álvarez underwent a therapy process with Therafit, and now he’s gotten to the stage of strengthening his knee.

The soccer players were focused on doing work in the physical part and then comes the other phase where they can walk, jog and work with the ball.

It should be remembered that in February 2020, Álvarez underwent meniscal and cruciate ligament surgery, an operation that took him away from court for six months. The 22-year-old is one of Pedro Troglio’s Olimpia’s best bets in midfield.

Last season, Jorge Álvarez managed to compete in 13 games, adding a total of 764 minutes until he was injured in the semi-final against Vida.
