Jon Gruden came out wearing an ‘Oakland Raiders’ cap before swapping it for ‘Las Vegas Raiders’

Raiders head coach Jon Gruden underwent a costume change during Thursday night’s game in which his team lost to the Chargers

LAS VEGAS – Jon Gruden the party of the Las Vegas Raiders versus Los Angeles chargers Thursday evening wearing a cap in which it was read “Oakland Raiders“.

Gruden had turned his cap into one of “Las Vegas RaidersBy when the second period started.

The Raiders are on their first Nevada campaign after calling home Oakland, California, from 1995 to 2019. The team played in The Angels from 1982 to 1994, and in Oakland before that, since its inception in the AFL in 1960.

Gruden is in his second term with the franchise after getting the Raiders from 1998 to 2001, and again from 2018, and has long described herself as a fan of the franchise.

The Raiders, who started their campaign 6-3, lost three of their four previous games on their way to Thursday’s game and then were left without the quarterback Derek Carr because of a previous groin injury Chargers. Later it was replaced by Marcus Mariota, with Las Vegas fall by 30-27 earlier The Angels in overtime.
