Former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell explains why his Joe Rogan Experience podcast appearance ended abruptly.

Joe Rogan interviews are synonymous with lasting more than three hours until every nook and cranny is revealed or until he asks his guests if they ever ate moose while high on psilocybin mushrooms. However, a recent Joe Rogan experience The interview ended abruptly, leaving fans scratching their heads and asking why.

Former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, whose incredible story was the inspiration for Sole survivor, Appeared on The Joe Rogan ExperienceLuttrell was (SPOILER ALERT) the sole survivor of Operations Red Wings in Afghanistan, a mission in 2005 that assigned SEAL Team 10 to neutralize a senior Taliban leader. Miraculously, Luttrell survived the gunfight that killed his fellow SEALs, and was rescued when he was near the end of his rope.

In the interview, Luttrell fights back tears as he relives the personal hell he experienced and the kindness of an Afghan tribe that allowed him to live for six days until his rescue by the US military.

Despite serious injuries from combat in Afghanistan, Luttrell would volunteer for another military tour before retiring medically.

Luttrell wrote the book Sole survivor about his incredible story, which was made into a Hollywood movie starring actor Mark Wahlberg. During his recent interview with Joe Rogan, Luttrell revealed that he had not seen the entire film based on his near-death experience in the Middle East.

Rogan asked the Navy SEAL, “What’s it like to have a movie about one of the worst experiences of your life?”

“It’s an honor to be a part of that,” Luttrell replied. ‘Man, the point is that I get spanked. As a fighter and warrior, those are usually the stories you don’t want to tell. ”

“I haven’t seen it,” said the war hero Sole survivor, the film about the most critical moment of his life, and then quipped, “I’ve never seen the whole movie, I know the director’s story.”

“I’m glad you said, ‘Let’s start with whiskey,’” Rogan said to Luttrell. “As soon as you said that, I thought, ‘This is going to be great.'”

“I only drink whiskey with my friends, and the only reason we say that is because the things that come out when you drink whiskey,” Luttrell said. “So I’ve been looking forward to this, we’ve been friends for a while, I thought, ‘We should have a good time with it.’ ”

Apparently Luttrell enjoyed a little too much whiskey during the interview.

Later in the interview, Luttrell had to use the bathroom, which is what happens to most of the guests during Rogan’s marathon interviews. However, Luttrell never returned. JRE fans wondered why the interview ended so abruptly.

Rogan explained what happened to the end of the Luttrell interview.

“A real honor and a great time to share a podcast with a great man and a real hero,” Rogan wrote on an Instagram post. “We could all use someone like @marcusluttrell in our lives.”

“We talked a lot s *** and drank a lot of whiskey,” Rogan explained. “For people wondering why the podcast was abruptly taken down after Marcus leaked, we decided he might have used up a little too much to continue talking, and in retrospect I think that was the right decision. Hahahaha! We will do it again, I’m sure. I really enjoyed it, and I hope you do too. “
