It’s always hilarious when an evil toad king like Ricketts wants to claim the need for unbiased information. We now have unbiased information, with many networks and channels offering fact-based news. And then we have the opened demonic Pandora’s Box on the right that makes it up as it goes, turning their brains and their viewers to mush. Perhaps this is Rickett’s attempt to fend off (from his prison cell) the news organization that Trump is forming in the near future, which will likely look like the reverse of that talk show Bill Murray appeared in. Lost in translation.
Ricketts has been in the news world before, as the founder of DNAInfo, which he then closed when the workers tried to unite. Ricketts wants fair and balanced coverage, but he doesn’t want to pay fair and balanced rates for it.
The idea that Ricketts would deliver a journalistic healing ointment to our divided country would be laughable were it not so depressing. This is the patriarch of a family currently trying refuse vaccines to immigrants in Nebraska while leading fundraising efforts for a man who spurred the first invasion of the Capitol in two centuries through his own shit-for-brains cult. But that is not everything. The Ricketts are busy try to bend Chicago’s laws at their whim while destroying a much-loved institution (admittedly, further down the grievances list). Whenever a gas bag like this talks about ‘straight and narrow’ it is always a crack against the mainstream media that the law has decided is biased against them, as the press can report once per comet or so on the criminal and / or idiotic of the right activities. When your whole ethos is based on lies, scams and myths, you tend to take a side-look at those who want things based on, you know, the truth.
