Joe Buck sells a $ 3.3 million luxury home in St. Louis

This sale could be a home run for Fox sports reporter Joe Buck, who has apparently found a buyer for his St. Louis home just a week after putting it up for sale.

The 51-year-old player of play-by-play football and baseball has been sharing this honeymoon with his wife, fellow sports reporter Michelle Beisner-Buck for almost seven years. Now, its $ 3.3 million listing has a buyer pending – which, according to Realtor.com’s property records, could mean a $ 2.5 million profit for the NFL and MLB’s well-known voice.

The house, which he purchased during their engagement to Beisner, according to a 2016 St. Louis Magazine article, has a double facade with two triangular spikes on the face of the house. Tall, black-lined windows and an oculus window define the facade, while two dormers pop out of the gray and red shingle roof, as photos show.

“It’s hard to find a luxury home with a ‘ranch’ feel that offers an open floor plan and a ground floor living room,” co-listing agent Megan Rowe told Realtor.com.

The covered arched entrance opens through dark wooden doors to a modestly tiled hall with chandeliers.

To the right, the office has a sloped ceiling and built-in bookcases filled with footballs, accolades and sports memorabilia from the couple’s work, including Buck’s six Emmy Awards.

The basement is filled with momentos, including a No. 99 Wayne Gretzky ice hockey jersey and a No. 29 John Smoltz baseball jersey.

The most stunning room in the house is a steep family room with a sunroof and French doors. The floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and hardwood floors complement a wrought iron chandelier and rustic wood furnishings create a “casual-yet-elegant shabby chic aesthetic,” Beisner told St. Louis Magazine in 2016.

The French doors of the family room open onto a sloping 6 acre fenced lawn. The estate has a children’s play area, pool, built-in BBQ and decked out cabana with stone walls, fireplace, television, wrought iron chandelier, exposed beams and a steep pitched roof.

Stone countertops and a tan tiled back wall line the kitchen with a large island, hanging lighting fixtures and a breakfast nook. And the 340 square foot owner’s suite is built for two, with double walk-in closets and a large bathroom with twin vanities.

Built in 1959, the heavy-hitter home was decorated with locally sourced materials by interior designer Sandra Long, according to the St. Louis Magazine feature.

“When people walk into the house, I want them to feel like they can actually sit down and not just look at the furniture,” she told the magazine. “I didn’t want a show house.”

It’s not clear from the ownership records when the couple bought the home or for how much, but it was listed by the previous owner for less than $ 800,000 in 2012. It’s also not clear why the couple are now letting go of their first home together, and property records do not show new home purchases from Buck. The sale comes as Buck disapproves of “clickbait headlines” about him drinking tequila with Troy Aikman while calling games.

They shared the house with their two twin sons, who are now almost 3 years old, and their dog Finley. Buck also has two children – Natalie, 24, and Trudy, 21 – with ex-wife, Ann Archambault, 49.

Megan Rowe and Buck Brooks with Dielmann Sotheby’s International Realty keep the listing.
