On Thursday night, Jimmy Kimmel moved away from his favorite target, the accomplice congressman Ted Cruz, and towards the Q accomplice Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican congressman from Georgia who subscribes to QAnon – a baseless, batshit-idiotic conspiracy theory that posits that Donald Trump is a messianic figure fighting a clique of sex trafficker pedophiles made up of some of the biggest names in Hollywood and the Democratic Party (despite Trump running around infamous pedophile Jeffrey Epstein).
“RNC chairman Ronna McDaniel… tried to distance himself from QAnon’s party. She said it is extremely dangerous and dangerous, ”Kimmel explained during his nighttime monologue. “QAnon is so marginal that the Republicans in the House have just put their worst, Q-iest member on the Education and Labor Committee – that’s Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia.”
Then Kimmel introduced his audience to Greene, who has never encountered a crazy conspiracy theory she didn’t like.
‘If you don’t know who this person is, I wish I didn’t. She is the lady who called, among other things, the execution of Nancy Pelosi; called for Joe Biden’s impeachment on his first day in office; and she believes our former governor here in California, Jerry Brown, used space lasers to light the wildfires here. She saw the Austin Powers movie and thought it was a documentary, I guess, ”said Kimmel.
Greene is also a COVID skeptic who refused to wear a mask in a safe, tightly packed room with other congressmen while storming the Capitol; believes in Pizzagate, the debunked theory that Democrats operated a child sex trafficking ring beneath a pizzeria in DC; said Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib’s elections to Congress were an “Islamic invasion of our government”; called the Charlottesville neo-Nazi rally an “inside job”; urged the anti-Semitic conspiracy theory that “Zionist supremacists” are trying to replace whites with migrants; has repeatedly questioned the 9/11 attacks; and called the shootings in Christchurch, Sandy Hook and Parkland ‘false flags’. And again, she supported the executing Democratic leaders.
“Marjorie also called some of the horrific school shootings ‘false flag operations,’ meaning the perpetrators were not who we think they were,” said Kimmel. “And here she is stalking and harassing a child not long after he saw his friends being slaughtered at school.”
He then pitched to a video where Greene chased after David Hogg, a Parkland school who shot a survivor (and teenager), barked at him, and called him a “coward.” The video was reportedly taken just weeks after the shooting.
The coward she yelled at is a teenager named David Hogg. He is an activist. She called him “Little Hitler” online. I wonder how the Fox News and Ted Cruz crew would end if Nancy Pelosi called for the execution of Marjorie Taylor Greene and naming a teenage Hitler? Do you think they have anything to say? asked Kimmel. “Well, it was the other way around, and guess what? Most of them have nothing to say. Instead, they assigned her to the education committee – hoping she would get one? I don’t know. . “
