JetBlue eliminates carry-on baggage for base fare passengers

Economy Class passengers traveling on JetBlue will not be able to take hand luggage under the airline’s new rules.

According to the company’s digital portal, passengers who purchase a basic fare and are separated from February 25 for the month of July and later can only bring an accessory such as a wallet, a laptop bag or a carrier with pets that fits under the seat.

The only exceptions the airline will have to this new rule are Mosaic members, those who earn some points, active servicemen and minors without the companionship of adults.

If you are bringing a suitcase to the terminal and are not authorized to take it on the plane, the cost of up to two pieces of luggage is $ 65, and $ 180 if there is a third.

The only passengers who can carry hand luggage are those who purchase their tickets known as Blue, Blue Plus, Blue Extra or Mint Fare.
