Jessie J had to spend Christmas Eve in the hospital after being struck by Meniere’s disease.
The 32-year-old Flashlight singer revealed her illness on a recent Instagram live where she revealed she was struggling to hear, sing, or even walk in a straight line.
Ménière’s disease is an ear disorder that can cause sudden attacks of dizziness, vertigo and hearing loss.

According to the NHS website, an attack of Ménière’s disease can cause patients to feel like they or anything you are spinning around lose their balance and feel sick.
She told her fans what had happened and explained, ‘I woke up and felt like I was completely deaf in my right ear, couldn’t walk in a straight line.
‘I was actually diagnosed with Meniere’s syndrome. I know a lot of people suffer from it and I’ve actually had a lot of people contact me and give me good advice, so I just lay in silence.

‘This is the first time I can sing and bear it. I just miss singing and being with someone so much. ‘
The star continued: ‘It could be a lot worse, it is what it is. I am super grateful for my health. It just threw me away.
‘On Christmas Eve I was in ear hospital and said,’ What’s going on? ‘.
‘But I’m glad I went early and they quickly found out what it was, and that I got the right medicine, so I feel a lot better today.
