Puerto Rican actor Jerry Rivera Mendoza returns to Puerto Rico to debut as a presenter.
Rivera will co-direct with Deddie Romero the San Sebastián Street Festivities, which will take place virtually this year as a result of the pandemic and will be broadcast on January 30 at 8 p.m. on Wapa Television and Wapa America.
The event brings together artists such as India, Joseph Fonseca, Wilkins, Victoria Sanabria, Melina Leon, The Abrante tribe, among other things. It will also include the integration of local artisans and some of the restaurants in the walled city will be highlighted.
The young man from Salinas said he welcomed the opportunity to be part of this initiative. “I am very happy to be part of this event because I know what it means to us Puerto Ricans to celebrate the traditional festivities on San Sebastián Street. The country needs these moments of joy and it gives me great satisfaction to be a part of it, ”said the actor.
On the other hand, Jerry has recently reached an important contract management agreement with the company Luis Luyando Management, an agency dedicated to the management of actors, television presenters and other talents in the Spanish market of the United States and Latin America.
“I am sure that the opportunity to work alongside Luyando will help me take my career to the next level. The pandemic has affected us all equally and the artistic class is no exception, there were projects that had to be postponed, but I used the time to further prepare for my career, I was in Mexico to attend workshops and it was an incredible experience, ”he concluded.
