Jennifer Lwarence had an explosion accident in ‘Don’t Look Up’

The media explained that the accident took place on February 5; the actress was in a restaurant, where presumably there would be a controlled explosion, which got a little out of hand in production.

A shard of glass from a window on the spot hit Jennifer Lawrence’s face and cut off part of the eyelid, so she immediately started bleeding and they stopped recording to nurse her.

Although the media was told the accident was “not that serious”, the executives made the decision to suspend filming until the American was out of danger and got medical attention.

Here’s a video shot before the scenes leading up to the accident of Lawrence, who married Cooke Maroney in 2019; in the shots he appears together with his colleague Timothee Chalamet, his partner in the film directed by Adam Mckay.
