Two days after Page Six’s bombshell message that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez had called off their engagement, the pop star broke her silence on social media via TikTok.
Lopez, 51, posted a TikTok video with headlines about the breakup, plus several photos and short clips of herself, timed to match the lyrics of rapper Saweetie’s song “ Pretty Bitch Music. ”
During the ‘trending from a selfie’ line, the star added a photo of her viral white bikini shot.
As the rapper proclaims, “I’m Not Worried About a Blog,” Lopez flashed the headline from Page Six’s exclusive report on her split from Rodriguez, plus headlines from other news outlets on topics from the breakup to Botox.
“Sunday brunch playlist,” Lopez captioned the message.
A day after Page Six revealed that the superstars had split up, the couple released a statement saying, “All reports are inaccurate. We are working on a number of things. “
The statement did not specifically acknowledge whether the duo, collectively known as “J-Rod”, are still a couple – or even still engaged.
“They try to work through things … but it’s unclear if that means sticking together,” said a source close to the pair.
The stars, who have been dating for about four years, announced their engagement in 2019, but then postponed their marriage twice and blamed the COVID-19 pandemic.
