Jennifer Lopez is considering not marrying Alex Rodriguez after canceling the wedding in June

Jennifer Lopez has closed lips about her wedding plans with fiancé Alex Rodriguez.

But the two-time Grammy nominee appears to have had a problem, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.

She recently revealed that she and the retired MLB professional are considering not getting married at all after canceling their wedding in June, which was scheduled for Italy.

The 51-year-old discussed it Monday on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show Radio Andy, as he suggested a comparison with Kurt Russell, 69, and Goldie Hawn, 75, who have been happy partners since 1983 but never married.

She replied, ‘Oh yes, we certainly talked about that. I mean at our age we’ve both been married before it’s like, are we getting married? Isn’t that so? What does it mean to us? And it just comes down to personal, like, what do you want to do? ‘

J.Lo finally shed some light on their mysterious wedding plans, too, which should have already happened.

She said, “There is absolutely no rush. It was really sad because we were going to get married in June and we planned everything. So in March or April we look through the pipe and go, “This might not happen.”

‘Italy is the worst place in the world. And we were going to get married in Italy. I was like, ‘Okay, we have to cancel everything.’ And we had to put all this money and all this stuff on the market, we were like, ‘We have to cancel it.’ So we canceled it.

And then we try to regroup for later in the year, a few months ago. And I was like, ‘No, still not the right time.’ So it was a bit disappointing. And then you just think to yourself, well, things will happen in a certain way in their divine time. ‘

The Hustlers actress added, ‘But same thing with like the Goldie thing and Kurt, you think, should you do that too? Shall we? It just gave us a moment to pause and think about it. And I think it’s something that might still be important to us, but there’s no rush, you know, there’s no rush when it happens. ‘

She and Rodriguez, 45, have been together since February 2017 and announced their engagement last March.

Lopez shares twins, son Maximilian and daughter Emme, 12, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 52, while A-Rod has daughters Natasha, 16, and Ella, 12, along with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, 47.

She recently stopped speculating that she and A-Rod are already married or preparing to walk away, thanks to her upcoming movies Marry Me and Shotgun Wedding.

The Block artist’s Jenny told ET Online: ‘It’s funny because sometimes life reflects in things you do. But it’s just a coincidence because when I played El Anillo, the song in Spanish, which is, ‘When are you going to call me?’ I didn’t really try to message me.

‘It was just a song we wrote that we liked and with Marry Me it was something we developed for, I would say, seven years. All those things and it happened now where Alex and I are engaged and at some point are getting married. It just happens that way. It’s a funny thing, life and art, they intersect. ‘
