Jennifer Lopez appears to have a new boyfriend in paradise, and just in time as the superstar tries to heal from her shocking breakup with Alex Rodriguez.
Rock star Lenny Kravitz, 56, who joined the cast of J. Lo’s upcoming movie “Shotgun Wedding” last month, seems to have made quite an impression on his co-star.
Not long after Kravitz, the father of actress Zoë Kravitz, appeared on the set of the Dominican Republic, Lopez gave daughter Emme guitar lessons from the handsome musician-actor (as seen on her IG). Lopez also shot an enticing video of herself on the balcony of her DR hotel suite to the tune of Kravitz’s hit parade ‘Fly Away’.
In Kravitz’s latest IG post, he’s lounging in a DR suite, reading a script and saying, “At the top of this script. #ShotgunWedding. “
Lopez, 51, is currently filming the movie while Rodriguez, 45, is in Miami. This is the first time since the pandemic began last March that the couple had split up, and Lopez recently said they were trying “therapy” to help their relationship during their quarantine together in Miami.
Page six exclusively revealed on Friday that the A-list couple called off their engagement. The couple started dating in 2017 and got engaged in 2019.
Lopez ‘latest post on her social media showed a montage of her laughing loudly. In stark contrast, her 13-year-old daughter, Emme, who was pictured on Lopez’s Instagram Story Friday night, is sobbing. The video of Lopez mentioned the girl sitting on a bed and being comforted by her father, Lopez’s ex-husband Marc Anthony.
A heartthrob in his own right, Kravitz is also a highly regarded singer-songwriter, producer and actor. He is also known for posing shirtless in his luxurious hippie den in the Bahamas.
“He’s a much nicer man than A-Rod, but he’s also a player,” someone who knows him told The Post. “Jennifer always says she hates being alone, but she has to be careful.”
Kravitz dated supermodels like Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima, musicians like Vanessa Paradis, actresses like Nicole Kidman and was married to actress Lisa Bonet, from whom he divorced in 1993 after seven years of marriage.
Meanwhile, the alleged other woman in this week’s J-Rod break-up, “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy, is keeping quiet. She had recorded FaceTiming with Rodriguez early last month and was cited as a possible reason for Lopez to ditch A-Rod.
A friend from LeCroy’s in South Carolina told The Post on Saturday that she was known as a “great hairstylist,” but also always made it clear that she had ambitions beyond Charleston. The source alleged that in June 2020, A-Rod flew LeCroy to New York on a private jet and had her sign a nondisclosure agreement.
“She made it very, very clear that she wants a high-profile life and the finer things,” the insider told The Post. “She was very good at what she did, but there was always drama with her clients, always drama.”
LeCroy told a source at The Sun that she was “furious” that A-Rod “never admitted his share of their relationship” before breaking up with Lopez.
The Sun reported that LeCroy was “blinded” by the big split. She said she “knew Alex was having issues with Jennifer” since their post went public, but “never thought they would actually break up.”
Rodriguez, known to everyone from Madonna to Cameron Diaz, has a history of infidelity.
Zoe Gregory, a British Playboy model, told The Sun in 2019 that before Rodriguez proposed to Lopez, he sent her inappropriate text messages. “J.Lo is great and she doesn’t deserve this,” said Gregory. “While he was getting ready to marry her, he asked me for sex videos. He demanded that we connect and ask me to hook up with other girls,” she said.
Lopez and Rodriguez may have put their breakup on hold given the enormity of their financial entanglements. A source told Page Six Friday exclusively that an army of lawyers and business executives went through details of J-Rod’s joint business ventures and real estate portfolio over the past week.
“There have been hectic meetings at A. Rod Corp in recent days about how to divide their assets,” the source said. “Jennifer and Alex did business together on many corporate projects and real estate deals.”
“They weren’t married yet, so it’s less complicated, and they both have a lot of wealth and invest their own money in many ventures.”
These projects included their deal with self-care company Hims & Hers, which turned them into investors in the company, as well as their partnership with Fitplan, which partnered with the app to offer fitness coaching.
And there’s a host of real estate in New York and Miami, including a $ 33 million mansion on Star Island in Miami that they bought together in August 2020.
But a separate source says, “Anyone who works on the business side for the couple usually says, ‘Thank goodness they didn’t buy the Mets.'”
“Even though the deal would have made Alex and Jennifer make their own separate investments, it would have been a huge mess to get out.”
The pair lost in their bid for the Mets to cover billionaire Steve Cohen.
J-Rod made a vague statement on Saturday saying, “All reports are inaccurate. We are working on a number of things. “It didn’t specifically address whether they are still engaged.
A-Rod was also photographed in Miami on Saturday speaking on the phone with someone he called ‘babe’. He claimed he was not yet a free agent in the single scene.
If the pair remains busted, industry insiders say it will be Rodriguez who will take the hit, not Lopez.
Lopez helped A-Rod resuscitate an audience image that was badly hit during his 22-year career as an MLB player, where he won three MVP awards, made 14 All-Star appearances and helped the Yankees to a World Series victory in 2009. That same year, he came out candidly about taking banned substances between ’01 and ’03 while with the Texas Rangers.
While playing for the Yankees under the most lucrative baseball contract at the time, Rodriguez was accused of receiving HGH from Anthony Bosch’s Biogenesis of America, the infamous Florida anti-aging clinic. In 2017, he admitted to being an “idiot” for ruining his career and legacy through PEDs.
