“We’ve definitely talked about that,” Lopez said of Hawn and Russell’s relationship. “At our age we have both been married before, it’s like, are we getting married? Isn’t it? What does it mean to us?”
She added that the two are in no rush, saying, “It comes down to personally, what do you want to do? There’s absolutely no rush, though.”
Lopez and Rodriguez were set to get married in Italy in early 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic put their wedding plans on hold. Now, she says, after canceling everything, she’s thinking about what she can do for their future.
“It was really sad because we were going to get married in June and we had it all planned. So in March or April, we’ll be watching through the tube and going, ‘This might not happen.’ Italy is the worst place in the world. And we were going to get married in Italy. I thought, “Okay, we have to cancel everything,” Lopez said, “disappointed.”
You just think to yourself, well, things are going to happen a certain way in their divine time, but the same thing with like the Goldie thing and Kurt, you think, should you do that? Should we? It just kind of gave us time to pause and think about it, “she added.” It will happen when it happens. “
“We’re just in a holding pattern like the rest of the world,” she added. “So again, it’s just something we have to wait and see and see how this all turns out in a few months,” she said.
The two live together and are parents to Lopez’s 12-year-old twins, Max and Emme, and Rodriguez’s daughters, Natasha, 16, and Ella, 12.
