Lady Gaga sings the national anthem and Jennifer Lopez has a musical number for the Capitol on Wednesday, during the inauguration of Joe Biden as the country’s 46th president.
On the eve, it was reported that Tom Hanks will be hosting a 90-minute television special to celebrate Biden’s inauguration with Justin Timberlake, Jon Bon Jovi, Demi Lovato and Ant Clemons.
During the inauguration ceremony, Pastor Leo O’Donovan, former Chancellor of Georgetown University, will recite the invocation, while the flag pledge will be led by Andrea Hall, a Georgia firefighter.
There will also be a poetry read by Amanda Gorman, the first national young poet laureate, and the Reverend Silvester Beaman of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Wilmington, Delaware, will give the blessing.
