Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez talked all night after split news

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez were talking all night after Page Six’s bombshell report that they broke up and released a vague statement on Saturday morning claiming they are “working through some things.”

All reports are inaccurate. We are working on a number of things, ”the two claimed in a statement obtained by Page Six.

The statement did not specifically acknowledge whether the megastars, collectively known as “J-Rod,” are still a couple – or even still engaged.

“They try to work through things … but it’s unclear if that means sticking together,” said a source close to the pair.

It wasn’t immediately clear where their swaying all night long, but the power couple, who have a number of business interests together, are figuring out how to divide their massive assets, sources say.

The two remain geographically separated. A source had told us of the pair on Friday, “He’s now in Miami getting ready for baseball season and she’s filming her movie in the Dominican Republic.”

An insider close to the stars added, “They’ve divorced and they’ve had issues that couples often have.”

The same source told us of the stunning report that the couple broke up: “Can they change their mind? Page six may be responsible for bringing them back together. “

The stars, who have been dating for about four years, announced their engagement in 2019, but they have subsequently postponed their marriage twice and blamed the COVID-19 pandemic. Lopez recently revealed that she and Rodriguez saw a therapist while they were in quarantine.

The two had a rough time in their relationship in the weeks leading up to the split, insiders said.

“They haven’t been together for the past two weeks and the past few days have not been good,” sources tell us. “They’ve had crazy problems.”

A source adds that 51-year-old Lopez was “very upset recently on the set” of her latest film, “Shotgun Wedding,” which is being shot in the Dominican Republic.

Rodriguez, meanwhile, is at home in Miami.

Sources exclusively tell Page Six that Lopez and Rodriguez were preparing to tell their kids about the split Friday afternoon after Page Six asked for comment.

Lopez shares 12-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Rodriguez is the father of two daughters, Natasha and Ella, with ex Cynthia Scurtis. J.Lo also posted a photo on social media of her daughter apparently crying and leaning against daddy Marc Anthony, with the caption “When they’re sad, but mom and dad are here.” It is unclear whether the message was related to the breakup.

Meanwhile, trouble swept into paradise after rumors A-Rod had been FaceTiming with “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy. Sources close to the baseball legend shot the rumors to The Post last month, saying, “He doesn’t know this woman.”

However, LeCroy admitted that the couple has spoken “on the phone” but “never met” with Page Six. LeCroy did not comment when Page Six reached out to her on Friday.

Sources close to A-Rod and J.Lo are adamant that the LeCroy rumors did not cause the recent rift between the pair.

A source told Page Six on Friday, “There were already problems, but Jennifer was really ashamed of it.”
