Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are both preparing for a weekend together in the Dominican Republic.
The 51-year-old actress has been in the country to shoot her latest film, Shotgun Wedding, while Alex, 45, travels back and forth to Miami to prepare as a commentator for the baseball season kick-off.
According to the couple’s respective social media accounts, the duo will reunite this weekend as People reports that they are continuing to do everything they can to stay together by making it a top priority.

“They are doing everything they can to prioritize their relationship,” a source told People on Wednesday.
“ He flew back to spend a few more days with Jennifer, ” said the source of his most recent stop to see the Grammy winner.
A-Rod is expected to return to their home in Miami before Major League Baseball opens the 2021 season on April 1.
The two were spotted kissing when he visited her in the Caribbean country last week, making it look like they were back on solid ground.

The star also shared a similar photo on her Instagram Stories in a slightly changed stance.
The Hustlers artist’s standout features were the focus on the images, with her blonde locks carefully wrapped from her face.
Meanwhile, a few hours later, Alex posted a photo to Instagram enjoying the pool at the home they share in the Dominican Republic.
His buff back was fully visible as he watched the beautiful water and palm trees over him.

“Heading to the weekend if … I hope you have a great one,” he wrote in the post.
In the Stories of the former professional baseball player, he posted a few clips in which he kept fit by swimming laps around the pool.
He added an emoji with the flag of the Dominican Republic to one clip, revealing that he spent the next few days next to his partner.

He’s in Florida: the two are dealing with divorce, however, as Alex has to leave for Miami to serve as a commentator for the baseball season kickoff in April.
“He’s putting in a lot of effort, and he wants Jennifer to be happy,” added the insider.
One of Jennifer’s team members recently said on Instagram that she still had four weeks to shoot the Shotgun Wedding movie. That means she might be able to join Alex in Miami in mid to late April.
Page Six reported earlier this month that the couple had finished after months of fighting.
But shortly after, Jennifer took to social media to say the report was “ stupid. ”
