Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez spent their romance in 2021.
After the 51-year-old pop star’s performance on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin ‘Eve,” she and Rodriguez, 45, watched the ball fall and ushered in the New Year with a kiss at midnight.
Perfectly playing the role of supporting fiancé, the former Yankee stood offstage and cheered Lopez as she performed a medley of hits including “Waiting for Tonight” and cover-covered Aerosmith’s “Dream On”.
While the couple has postponed their marriage twice due to the pandemic, 2021 may well be their year.
“We let it go a little bit, and I don’t know what we’re going to do, we’re talking about small, big,” said Lopez in early December.
“And I think we just feel like, ‘Let’s just wait and see.’ There is no rush, we are good, everything is cool and it will happen when the time is right. I feel like having a big wedding right now is not a big priority, that’s not what life is about. ”
Lopez and Rodriguez started dating in March 2017 and got engaged two years later.
