The movie star was slightly injured while shooting a special effects shot that went wrong. Lawrence plans to shoot again on Monday.
American actress Jennifer Lawrence suffered a minor accident on Friday after a special effects shot went wrong and a piece of glass that was shot hit her in the face, Deadline reports.
The accident took place in Boston (US) during the filming of the Netflix-produced movie ‘Don’t Look Up’ and forced the recording set to be temporarily interrupted. Lawrence is currently recovering from the impact and plans to shoot again next Monday.
“Don’t Look Up” is a catastrophe comedy directed by Adam McKay. Along with Leonardo DiCaprio, Lawrence plays a petty astronomer who, along with her colleague, embarks on a media tour to warn humanity of an approaching asteroid that will destroy the planet. The film’s premiere is scheduled for this year.
