Jenna Dewan celebrates her ‘rainbow baby’ Callum’s first birthday as she ‘thanks the universe’ for her baby boy
Jenna Dewan learned that in the summer of 2019 she was pregnant with her first child, a son, from fiancé Steve Kazee.
And on Saturday, the actress, 40, joyfully celebrated the first birthday of her ‘rainbow baby’ Callum, whom she welcomed to the world in March 2020.
To celebrate the occasion, Jenna uploaded an adorable side-by-side snapshot of Callum to Instagram posing next to a photo of himself as a newborn.

“I cut half off the frame when taking this photo because I was just too overwhelmed…!” she explained the image in the caption of her message.
“The fact that this little angel baby is one year old today amazes me.”
In the photo, Callum looked adorable wearing a brown onesie as he sat in front of his crib in the Los Angeles home that Jenna shares with her handsome fiancé.
‘Callum, you came into this world and changed it the moment you were here … you brought with you pure joy, pure love and a little spark of the divine that I have a feeling that will never disappear,’ gushed the mother of two.
The Step Up star went on to write about how her boy has brought everyone around him together ‘like the shining sun’, which everyone likes to ‘cherish’ all day long.

“It is an absolute gift and an honor to be your mother.”
Since COVID-19 is still a great danger, Dewan apologized for not being able to have a real birthday for Callum.
“I also feel like that’s part of your magic … and shows us all how incredible it is to slow down, focus on what’s important, and be together as a family.”
She ended up gushing about how she, Kazee, and her daughter Everly, who she shares with ex-husband and actor Channing Tatum, ‘thank the universe for you every day and we love you outside of our little rainbow baby !!!’

Dewan also shares a photo of her ‘rainbow baby’ sitting on his dad’s lap, and another of him crawling on the floor with six rainbow emojis next to him.
To wrap up her Instagram story, Jenna uploaded a boomerang video in which she triumphantly raised her right arm in the air in a short white T-shirt.
“And I think mothers should also celebrate the BIRTHDAYS of their children …!” she captioned the image before adding, “We are all Wonder Women.”
A ‘rainbow baby’ is a term often used to describe a child who is born into a family that has previously had a miscarriage or pregnancy loss.
