Jeffrey Epstein’s accused Mrs. Ghislaine Maxwell sells the London house to pay legal fees

Jailed socialite Ghislaine Maxwell is selling her London home to fund her legal costs, a family spokesperson has confirmed. Jeffrey Epstein’s former partner and accused Mrs, who has been in federal custody since July on charges of complicity in Epstein’s sex trade, owned a home in the upscale Belgravia neighborhood. Maxwell’s representative has not confirmed the sale price, but homes in the neighborhood recently sold for $ 3.6 million to $ 11.2 million. The sale previously got Maxwell in trouble with her bank, Barclays, who closed her account after the buyer deposited the down payment. Prosecutors have accused Maxwell, the daughter of controversial publisher Robert Maxwell, of helping Epstein abuse underage girls in the late 1990s. One of Epstein’s accusers claims she was taken to the London house to have sex with Prince Andrew. Andrew denies the charges; Maxwell pleaded not guilty.
