Jeffree Star was involved in a “serious car accident” on Friday after his car crashed into black ice several times while he and close friend Daniel Lucas were in Wyoming.
The YouTube star and the social media influencer’s official social media account shared the news Friday along with an image showing 35-year-old Star trapped in a hospital bed while wearing a neck brace. Lucas was by his side.
“A few hours ago, Jeffree and Daniel had a serious car accident and the car turned over 3 times after running on black ice … We will update you all when the doctor gives us more information. both are still alive, “reads a tweet from Star’s account.
Wyoming Highway Patrol Sergeant Jeremy Beck told Fox News that they had received the first reports of the crash after 8:30 a.m. local time on Friday.

When officers arrived on the scene, Beck said Star was identified as the driver and Lucas, the only passenger in the vehicle. Star and Lucas were both wearing seat belts and the couple were transported to Casper hospital.
In addition, police said the state has experienced some snowfall through various parts, but no roads were closed as the snow started to melt – turning into melting snow and ice.

At present, it is not investigated whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the accident.

According to KISS FM, the two are currently still in hospital and Star would be in stable condition.
