Jeep puts The Boss back in rotation.
The automaker says it will “pause” streaming versions of its Super Bowl LV commercial featuring Bruce Springsteen after DUI and reckless driving against the singer were dropped on Wednesday.
Just days after the two-minute ad ran during the game, it was revealed that Springsteen had been arrested at a New Jersey national park in November when he was spotted getting on his motorcycle after drinking tequila.
Jeep made fun of social media saying it would “pause our Big Game commercial until the actual facts can be established”
Springsteen pleaded guilty to one count of drinking in a locked room at the online hearing, but prosecutors suggested firing the DUI and reckless driving on the basis that Springsteen’s blood alcohol level was only 0.02, well below the local limit of .08, and the judge agreed.

“As previously stated, we paused the ad until the facts were established. Now that the case is resolved, we are pausing the movie,” a Jeep spokesman told Fox News after the ruling.
The judge ordered Springsteen to pay a fine of $ 500 and $ 40 in court costs.
“I think I can afford that right away, Your Honor,” Springsteen replied.
Springsteen had never removed the commercial from his own Twitter account.
