The team where the “Chofis” will play has been defined, they are the San José Earthquakes, of the MLS, where they will meet Matías Almeyda again.
Soccer player Javier Eduardo Lopez, has already stamped his signature on the contract that will link him to the MLS’s San Jose Earthquakes team, making him a footballer of the California squad for the next season, sources reported ESPN.
‘Chofis’ is on loan to Matías Almeyda at the MLS institution and San Jose will take 100 percent of his salary so Chivas will no longer have to worry about paying the footballer.
His hiring is expected to be announced in the coming hours and he will be officially part of San Jose. In this setting, ‘Chofis’ will again meet his ex-Chivas teammates: Oswaldo Alanís and Carlos Fierro, with whom he was the Liga MX champion in 2017.
This will be the second jacket that López has defended in his career so far.
