The 48-year-old Skyscraper actor took to Instagram on Sunday April 18 to share a sweet birthday message for daughter Tiana Gia Johnson, who had just turned 3 years old. He added an adorable photo of the two together just after the girl apparently went for a swim, and he also added a shout out to his wife Lauren Hashian
“Happy birthday to my darling little Tia Giana,” Dwayne wrote. “Loving, kind, tenacious and tough (like your mother;) and my greatest joy is to be your father. I always ‘get’ you.”
He continued, “Now that she’s finally starting to understand that Daddy Maui is from MOANA, she has a very important question – ‘Daddy do you know AquaMan? ”
The movie actor who plays the superhero, aka Jason Momoa, responded to the post and seemed flattered. “Happy birthday,” Jason wrote, adding four hearts and four laughing-crying emojis.
Apparently the heartfelt birthday wish was not enough for Tia. Later in the day, Dwayne shared a photo of his daughter next to an Aquaman action figure, next to her father’s sketch of the superhero’s face.
