Cuban actress Jaqueline arenal He denounced on social networks that the Images Club, a state night institution, had raided the entrance to his Havana building by setting up a booth there for the sale of products.
“I am making this publication to denounce the fact that the Images Club, located next to our building on Calzada y C Street in Vedado, has decided (even without consulting the Council of Buren) to install a window. open to sell liquors and other products in a common area of the building, ”explains Arenal.
According to the artist, this action impedes people’s access because it interrupts the passage through the building’s only staircase, “and they’ve turned off a flowerbed on our facade for use by the public who come to buy.”
For the actress, this fact is a violation of “all the rules of respect and exclusivity of the common area of the building and of the neighbors”. Plus, it ignores claims negotiated with the club’s manager, who never responded to the concerns.
Arenal said he had warned the manager they would complain through “all corresponding channels” and shared in his publication photos of the letters sent to the authorities, which appear with the signature of the Chairman of the Board of Neighbors.
In one they complain about the noise caused by people in the nightclub and the inactivity of the police to solve the problem, as the club claims that the customers are not their responsibility once they go out. They also ask for the hours (from 10pm to 3am) to be shortened to noon.
“The club has its entrance in C street and we in Calzada street, when we told them to set up the sale from their entrance they claimed they couldn’t damage the facade but apparently they don’t mind ours. with all the inconveniences this would bring us on all levels and that is a violation of the rights of our building, ”he stated.
“We have not received a response from any entity, so as the Club is about to start the sale, tonight we decided to fill out and plant our flowerbed and file this complaint through the networks, clearly that we will not allow it, “warned Arenal, highly remembered by the Cuban public, especially for her role as Verena Contreras in the soap opera” Tierra Brava “.
