The trailer for Wonderis long-awaited Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings came out last night (04/19) and fans couldn’t help but share their excitement not only for the Asian-lead superhero movie, but also for the soundtrack.
After the release of the movie’s official teaser, many fans took notice Jackson Wang‘s voice is singing in the background. 88 rise also later hinted at the news via Instagram.
While Jackson and Marvel haven’t confirmed the news yet, the GOT7 member would be the first K-pop act to appear on a Marvel soundtrack. The leave me loving you act was also recently announced to star Love Him, Love Her, Love Ta (Love Him, Love Her, Love Ta), a short film for the 13th Shanghai Biennale.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings follows the story of Shang-Chi (played by Simu Liu) who has been attracted to the clandestine Ten Rings organization.
This will serve as Marvel’s first Asian superhero movie and is scheduled for release in September 2021.
