Former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dina Manzo believes today’s “Housewife” Jackie Goldschneider has gone too far.
Manzo took to Instagram on Thursday to voice her thoughts on Goldschneider’s explosive argument with Teresa Guidice in the season 11 premiere of the Bravo hit, in which Guidice, 48, accused Goldschneider’s husband of cheating on her. When Jackie tried to explain how hurt she felt, she compared repeating the false rumor to Giudice’s 20-year-old daughter, “Gia sniffs Coke in the bathroom at parties.”
Guidice business manager Karianne Fischbach shared a lengthy statement about the fight, tagging both Gia and Teresa on Instagram.
“Gia is a wonderful, smart, strong and beautiful person and what was done to her tonight was wrong on so many levels. To a grown ass “I’m so smart to be a lawyer” woman, it’s unthinkable to put Gia’s name in an argument and place an accusation with such weighted consequence, ”Fischbach wrote.
Manzo reposted the statement, adding that she believes Jackie Gia owes a public apology.
“I have NOT looked, but I totally agree,” she wrote. “A grown woman shouldn’t use that analogy about a minor, especially our beautiful @_giaguidice. Jackie must immediately publicly apologize. “
Gia echoed Manzo’s message of support.
Jackie, for her part, holds on to her guns and tells Us Weekly, “When you say something about someone you love, whether it’s true or not, it hurts, you know? So I don’t regret that because if I said something nasty about Gia, I would regret it. But I gave a comparison, which was pretty clear to almost everyone. “
