Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy has broken her silence about her alleged relationship with Alex Rodriguez – by exclusively telling Page Six that she and the ex-MLB star never met in person and only spoke on the phone.
Rumors circulated among LeCroy’s friends that she had ‘had an affair’ with the slugger – and they came out in the open after Bravo’s Andy Cohen said during a ‘Southern Charm’ reunion show, ‘a very famous … ex- MLB player ‘.
But LeCroy told us on Wednesday that she and A-Rod have “never met.”
She explained that they ‘spoke on the phone’. “That’s the truth,” she said, adding that they “have never been physical … never had anything. Just an acquaintance. “
The Bravo star revealed, “He never physically cheated on his fiancé with me,” adding that she “spoke to him randomly, but inconsistently.” She did not disclose the content of the calls, but said it was “harmless”.
LeCroy did not indicate when the alleged calls took place. But she said the rumors started because “it was like a game of phone” in her social circle, and “I told the wrong person” that she had been in contact with A-Rod.
‘All these things were a year ago [but] it is now on air, ”she said after the allegations came out during the reunion show.
Moderator Cohen said on the show that he was trying to figure out a rumor about LeCroy and a person whose name was being peeped. Cohen then said instead, “I should say, a very famous married ex-MLB player.”
Rodriguez is not married, but engaged to pop superstar Jennifer Lopez.
LeCroy told Page Six that the bleep name on the reunion show was indeed A-Rod’s – but added that she “told them they couldn’t use that.”
“I don’t know what to do,” a distraught LeCroy told us on Wednesday. “I have tried to be as quiet as possible. I don’t want anything bad for his family or mine. We are absolutely innocent in this. “
Sources close to A-Rod have said he and LeCroy never met.
An insider further told Page Six: “Alex and Jennifer are very happy. They are together building a house in Miami Beach. The source said they have been inseparable during the pandemic and were seen driving a red convertible through Coral Gables, Florida on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, LeCroy’s “Southern Charm” co-star Danni Baird on the “Reality Life With Kate Casey” podcast claimed that LeCroy had previously admitted to interacting with Rodriguez on FaceTime. Months earlier [the show’s reunion special], I had heard … [LeCroy] told me they were FaceTiming or something, ”Baird claimed on the podcast. ‘I never asked about it again or anything like that. On the reunion special, LeCroy said, without mentioning A-Rod, that she communicated on Instagram with a baseball player who contacted her, but denied that she had “ flew to Miami ” to contact him, as her cast member stated Craig Conover for that.
